The Doors party, participating in anti-government demonstrations in Serbia, lost representation in parliament. This happened after deputies Zoran Radojcic and Srdjan Nogo, who did not agree with the course of the leadership of the political force, were expelled from the party.

According to the rules, a faction cannot consist of less than 5 members. And with the departure of two deputies, Dveri lost the required number of representatives - now there are only four of them, led by the leader, Boško Obradović.

Information about this was confirmed to the Beta agency by the party's press service. A similar message also appeared on the parliament website.

Let us remind you that deputy Srdjan Nogo was expelled from Dveri two months ago for “unauthorized activities”, and Zoran Radojcic learned about his expulsion in early April from the media. The basis was his alleged attempt at a party coup.

What does the loss of a faction mean for an opposition party?

The main thing is that now this organization does not have the right to send its own representative to meetings and meetings of parliamentary groups.

Of course, theoretically, members of Dveri can join their opposition colleagues and join another faction. However, no one will particularly notice this - party members have not been seen at meetings for a long time, since they declared a boycott of the parliament in its current composition.

“People’s representatives” say that exclusion from the parliamentary club does not bother them. The main thing that the opposition is focused on is the split in its own ranks and the upcoming protest action, which is scheduled to take place in Belgrade on May 4. Then, according to the party leader, the so-called “people's parliament” will be formed on the territory opposite the Assembly. There are plans to create a “Free Zone” there on the principle of the Ukrainian Maidan,” writes the Balkanist portal.

Meanwhile, Obradovic’s comrade-in-arms in the “Union for Serbia”, Dragan Djilas, recently created his own party – “Freedom and Truth”. More precisely, he united about 10 existing “kitchen” organizations into a conglomerate. The driving force was the environmentalist Green Party.
