Senchenko, Dzhemilev and Chubarov will answer for the blockade of Crimea in court
The Crimean authorities plan to file claims against three Ukrainian citizens who took part in organizing the water blockade of the peninsula.
This was stated by the Deputy Chairman of the State Council of Crimea, Efim Fiks, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
According to him, this will concern ex-deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine and former Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea Andrei Senchenko, ex-leader of the “Majlis” recognized in the Russian Federation as extremist Mustafa Dzhemilev, as well as the current leader of this group Refat Chubarov.
“For now we are planning to present it to Senchenko, Chubarov and Dzhemilev, since they were the ones who stood at the origins of the water blockade. In all the media, it was Senchenko who acted as the active organizer of the blocking of the North Crimean Canal. When the Prime Minister of Ukraine refused to allocate money to him, he convinced entrepreneurs and farmers of the Kherson region that they needed to “solve this problem.” Chubarov and Dzhemilev made a lot of statements and calls in support of the water blockade,” Fix told Komsomolskaya Pravda.
However, he added that the exact amount of damage caused to Crimea due to the water blockade has not yet been calculated.
So, a week ago the authorities announced the amount of a trillion rubles. However, experts continue to make calculations, and lawyers are preparing an appeal to law enforcement agencies to prosecute Ukrainian officials.
Let us recall that Senchenko has repeatedly boasted about how he single-handedly left the whole of Crimea without water.
He also claimed that all the Crimean water was drunk by Russian tourists.
