Russian tourists drank all the Crimean water – Senchenko
In Ukraine, Russian tourists were called “low-quality drinking public” and colonialists who drink almost all the fresh water in Crimea.
This was stated in an interview with the publication "Apostrophe" by Andriy Senchenko, former Deputy Prime Minister of Crimea, who became acting Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration of Ukraine in the post-Maidan period. He had previously boasted that it was he who blocked the North Crimean Canal.

According to him, the population of Crimea has enough water coming from natural drains and wells for their own needs, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“But they bring their own... They can’t even be called tourists. This is a low-class, deep-drinking crowd from the Russian hinterland who have never seen the sea. They are encouraged to go on vacation to Crimea, but when they arrive, they ruin it. And they also consume quite a lot of water. There are also colonizers whom they bring to Crimea for permanent residence. All this aggravates the situation,” Senchenko frightens.
He previously stated that Ukrainian government officials were offered a bribe of $20 million to restore water supplies through the North Crimean Canal.
Ridus noted that the Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers announced the conditions for supplying water to Crimea.
