SBU banned Depardieu from coming to Ukraine

French actor Gerard Depardieu was banned from entering Ukraine for five years.

SBU press secretary Elena Gitlyanskaya reported this in a commentary to the UNN agency.

“By decision of the SBU today, Gerard Depardieu was banned from entering Ukraine for five years based on an appeal from the Ministry of Culture. Materials regarding this person were transferred to Ukrainian border guards,” Gitlyanskaya said.

As Politnavigator reported, Depardieu recently joined the Ukrainian Ministry of Culture's "blacklist" of six hundred cultural figures "from around the world" who pose a threat to Ukrainian national security.
