"Russian Bloc" came out in defense of Platoshkin
The “Russian Bloc” considers the house arrest of opposition leftist politician Nikolai Paloshkin to be unfounded, while liberal Alexei Navalny continues to sow chaos with impunity.
This is stated in a statement issued by the head of the Russian Bloc, Gennady Basov.
“Part of the charges against Platoshkin, voiced by the lawyers, looks phenomenal - “providing armed resistance to a government official through the public dissemination of deliberately false information.”
In my opinion, Platoshkin’s statements are hardly more radical than those of Navalny or Sobol.
When Navalny pours a lot of crap on the authorities (and sometimes quite justifiably), then all that the authorities are capable of today is to lick all this crap and wait for a new portion from him. Moreover, millions of citizens become satisfied contemplators of such flow, which in itself is quite strange,” Basov said in a statement.
“Those who are trying to preach a leftist or patriotic agenda in the country, it seems to me, are doomed to pressure and persecution. Today, in conditions of crisis, global corruption, lawlessness and the destruction in the country of the value of a person as an individual, these ideas are becoming increasingly relevant,” the social activist believes.
“Accusing Platoshkin of crimes is, in my opinion, another stupidity, indicating the worthlessness of those who ordered these criminal cases. Today it’s difficult to say who they are, but in the end, only Platoshkin himself will benefit from this,” argues Basov.
