A drunken Ukrainian Armed Forces soldier blew himself and two colleagues up with a grenade

A Ukrainian Armed Forces serviceman, while intoxicated, blew himself up and two of his colleagues as a result of careless handling of a grenade. The brigade command is trying to hide this blatant fact from higher management.

This was reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent with reference to LPR Defense Ministry representative Andrei Marochko.

“We continue to record incidents and crimes in the so-called “ATO” zone involving military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who are intoxicated. Thus, in the area of ​​the Troitsky settlement, as a result of careless handling of a grenade, one serviceman of the 10th mountain assault brigade died. Two privates - Zhabko and Kovalenko - received shrapnel wounds. The brigade commander Zubanich is once again trying to hide from the higher command the true reasons for the death and injury of military personnel, attributing the losses to shelling by the LPR People’s Militia,” said Andrei Marochko.
