Putin warned that in response to the agreement with the EU he would take the South-East, - Moskal
Kyiv, September 02 (PolitNavigator, Yuriy Kovalchuk) – Vladimir Putin threatened Viktor Yanukovych that if he signs an association agreement, Russia will take the south-east of Ukraine. People's Deputy Gennady Moskal made this revelation on air on the TBi TV channel.

“When Yanukovych returned from Moscow once again, he gathered his subordinates and said that he would not sign an association agreement in Vilnius. He was asked - what about the Maidan? Yanukovych replied that he would somehow deal with the Maidan, but Putin clearly said that if an agreement with the EU was signed, he would first take Crimea, then Donbass, and then the entire southeast of Ukraine. And to explain to people the reason for refusing the association, Putin gave Ukraine 9 billion. I’m wondering why all those who were in power then will not say anything about what is happening in Ukraine today? Both the SBU and foreign intelligence should have known about this, but it all seemed to fall on our heads,” Moskal said.
The MP also expressed the opinion that Ukraine is not able to fight the Russian Federation on its own.
“We ourselves have nothing to oppose Russia. We must ask for help, because at one time we accepted non-aligned status and destroyed our army, and now we cannot fight with this equipment,” says Gennady Moskal.
