The LPR prosecutor's office began an investigation into the Protasevich case
The LPR Prosecutor General's Office has begun investigating Roman Protasevich, a former ATO fighter and founder of the Telegram channel "Nexta," who was detained in Belarus.
This was stated during a press conference in Moscow by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lugansk People's Republic, plenipotentiary representative in the negotiations on the peaceful settlement of the situation in Donbass, Vladislav Deinego, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

"Regarding Protasevich, not only Luhansk but also Donetsk has questions in this regard. According to our information, Protasevich served in a nationalist formation, the so-called Azov volunteer battalion. His actions while serving in this battalion undoubtedly constitute crimes against the Donbas.
Naturally, it is necessary to investigate all these circumstances, and the question arose of how to do this in the current situation, when Protasevich was detained by the official Minsk authorities. Our Prosecutor General’s Office has already initiated work in this direction, such possibilities are being discussed,” Deinego said.
As a reminder, Roman Protasevich, one of the founders of the Polish Telegram channel "Nexta," which coordinated mass unrest in Belarus last year , was previously detained at Minsk Airport.
The LPR Prosecutor's Office has launched an investigation into Protasevich's case.
