Spiders in a jar: Protasevich surrendered theirs
Extremist Roman Protasevich, detained 10 days ago in Minsk during an emergency landing of a plane on which he was flying from Athens to Vilnius, suggests that one of his colleagues provided information about his movements to “cyberpartisans” who sent a false message to the airports about mining.
He told the Belarusian TV channel ONT about this, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I had a personal conflict with only one person, quite intense. Especially in recent days. Initially we had no conflicts, but at the first drinking party he said that there would be problems. We both have strong characters, so there may be problems.
I wrote in the work chat 40 minutes before departure, where and how I would fly. This person was there, and this situation happens. I was in a pre-trial detention center and had no information. One of the first things I thought was that I was really just being set up! I didn’t say this anywhere, but as soon as I said it, I immediately ended up in Minsk. Right away!
I'm sure he had connections with the cyber guerrillas. Who were previously engaged in false mining throughout Belarus. And massively,” said Protasevich.
He also admits that the adviser to the self-proclaimed “leader of the Belarusian nation” Franak Vyachorka could have been aware of the situation.
“A simple example: I had a good relationship with Franak Vyachorko. I filmed Tikhanovskaya’s visit in Athens. Everything was fine, we worked for 2 days. He praised me. He flew away, and in less than a week, the attitude towards me changed to the opposite. I talked to him and he said: we need to consider the prospects for further cooperation,” Protasevich said.
The authors of the film point out that Protasevich was still standing in line at passport control when Vyacherko published a post on the social network that the “regime” had hijacked the plane to repress the “blogger.” This message began to be replicated by Telegram channels. A photo also appeared taken by someone on a bus that was carrying passengers from the plane to the airport building. Svetlana Tikhanovskaya also made a lengthy statement.
Only half an hour after this panic, Protasevich absolutely calmly passed through passport control. The creators of the film on ONT claim that the Belarusian special services learned about the extremist’s arrival in Minsk from social networks.
