The traffic jam in front of the Crimean Bridge moves at a speed of 4 km in 10 hours
A huge traffic jam in front of the Crimean Bridge stretched both towards Crimea and towards the mainland. Additional posts of private security of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, which were supposed to speed up the inspection of passenger vehicles, did not change the situation - the administration of the Krasnodar Territory introduced a “yellow” level of terrorist danger until January 13.
Now every car is inspected with special care, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.

Even in the morning, the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation announced that the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "UVO Ministry of Transport of Russia" increased the number of inspection posts, thereby increasing the throughput by 60% on the part of the Krasnodar Territory and by 40% on the part of the Republic of Crimea.
The ministry admitted that the inspection time of vehicles and people heading to Crimea has increased “not only due to the increased flow of vehicles, but also the amount of luggage carried in it.”

But by lunchtime it became clear that the throughput of the inspection points had not increased - the queue stretched for several kilometers, and in order to pass the time, its hermits calculated the average speed of movement and the time before leaving the bridge.
“Traffic jam at the entrance to Crimea. Someone calculated the average traffic jam speed = 0,4 km/h, now the traffic jam to the inspection point is 3,7 km = 9-10 hours,” former people’s deputy Oleg Tsarev wrote in his Telegram channel.

Next, the administration of the Krasnodar region, citing information from law enforcement agencies about the emergence of a threat of a terrorist act, introduces a “yellow” level of anti-terrorism in the Temryuk region, which implies a thorough inspection of each car and especially luggage.
“We contacted the government of the Krasnodar region. The answer is this: they are now setting up tents with hot meals and dry closets. Everything's under control. We have to wait a little. Everything will be fine,” said Russian State Duma deputy Dmitry Gusev in his Telegram channel.

In turn, the head of the administration of Kerch Svyatoslav Brusakov, who in the morning assured that the queue before entering the Crimean Bridge does not exceed 1 hour of waiting, addressed residents and guests of the city with a warning - everyone who needs to drive up to the Yuzhnaya railway station, You should not choose the path towards the bridge, but go through the Heroes of Stalingrad highway past the builders’ town.
