Poroshenko said that the theft of gas from Firtash is European rules of doing business
President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, opening the discussion in the National Security and Defense Council on energy security, emphasized that no one else will be included in the Forbes rating, skimming the cream off the use of the capabilities of state monopolies.
The press service of the Ukrainian president reported this.
Poroshenko believes that the seizure of 500 million cubic meters of gas from Dmitry Firtash’s Osthem company is evidence that European rules are beginning to apply in the fuel and energy complex.
“It is in this direction that the arrest of 500 million cubic meters of gas, which the Prosecutor General’s Office together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out in the Osthem company, should be considered,” added the head of state.
