Mikhail Gulak, paramedic of the “Peacemaker” battalion, who has participated in the battles for Ilovaisk since August 24 last year, told reporters about this during a meeting with ATO participants in Kiev.
“We have a lot of materials on Ilovaisk,” he said. - I know where I hid my phone. The time will come and I will dig it up. I know someone else had their phones hidden, and they filmed the shelling itself. And some of them had their cards hidden. Therefore, it must be said that this should not have been allowed. The enemy entered the territory of Ukraine from Russian territory. Why wasn't it destroyed? This is not normal, there is no explanation for this. Why weren’t we taken out earlier, if people were already standing near the president’s house before the 24th and saying: “Save us.” The President is now the President. But he will soon have to answer when he is not president. Another government will come and hold him accountable for these crimes. Everything is fine now, but we’ll wait two or three years.”
