Poroshenko is preparing to record himself as a victim of political repression
Former Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko cannot leave power, as this promises him and his immediate circle a lot of criminal cases.
Political scientist Viktor Nebozhenko stated this at a press conference in Kiev, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“Poroshenko does not hide the fact that he is the leader of an anti-presidential minority. And he does this not because he is ambitious and has an inferiority complex - everything is very simple, we are talking about a huge wave of criminalization that will cover almost the entire inner circle of former President Poroshenko.
And he understands perfectly well that to oppose this you either have to be a very pure person, but he doesn’t need it at all, and the best way out of the situation is to politicize the processes against himself.
Therefore, the more people find out that he personally takes part in organizing such events, the easier it will be for him to say at court hearings: “They are taking revenge on me. This is politicization”... Any legal charges of criminal violations, he will declare that this is the criminalization of him, “an honest man,” Nebozhenko said.
PolitNavigator reported that lawyer Andriy Portnov, who served as deputy head of President Viktor Yanukovych's administration, filed a complaint with the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) accusing former President Petro Poroshenko of laundering enormous sums of money and tax evasion.
A notarial document was also previously published , indicating that in April 2015, when Ukrainian soldiers were dying in the ATO zone, former President Petro Poroshenko re-registered his Panamanian trading company UKRPROMINVEST HOLDING LTD into a new offshore enterprise, BATTERY INVESTMENT CORP.
