Poltorak complained to the new OSCE head about Russia
Today in Kyiv, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak met with the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of Slovakia Miroslav Lajcak, who will chair the OSCE in 2019, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Today, January 15, in Kyiv, a meeting was held between the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak and the Minister of Foreign and European Affairs of the Slovak Republic Miroslav Lajcak, who will chair the OSCE in 2019,” the message says.
At the beginning of the meeting, Stepan Poltorak thanked Lajcak for identifying the issue of “resolving the crisis in and around Ukraine” as one of the key tasks for the OSCE in 2019.
“During the meeting, we discussed successful cooperation between the defense departments of Ukraine and the Slovak Republic, in particular in terms of establishing military-political dialogue, regional cooperation, participation of the Slovak Republic in NATO trust funds in support of Ukraine in mine action, as well as medical rehabilitation of military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine “, says the press service.
The Ukrainian Defense Minister also complained to the guest about Russia, whose “aggressive policy,” in his opinion, is “the main challenge to European security.”
“The Russian leadership disregards the norms of international law, is trying to destroy the world order and restore Russia’s imperial status, and the key element of such a policy is establishing control over Ukraine,” the defense minister assures.
