SBU Colonel criticized the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the irrational waste of missiles in Crimea
Ukraine should not waste Western long-range weapons for attacks on Crimea - they may be useful in stopping a breakthrough of the Russian Armed Forces, but with such a expenditure of missiles there will be no missiles left.
Retired SBU colonel and military expert Oleg Starikov stated this on the "Vyshka" video blog, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.

“I’ll give you a small example. The enemy has learned to shoot down ATACMS... and in order to hit the target, you need to fire 10 missiles. This means that the air defense system shoots down 90%. Does the West have such a number of missiles to hit something there, well, hit a bridge. In order to destroy the bridge, you need to hit at least a hundred missiles, otherwise it will be patched up and that’s it.
Or maybe we should keep these missiles so that when a counterattack is launched to break through the enemy’s defenses, even in the Kharkov direction, where they have now taken a bridgehead? Maybe the blow should be stopped along the tactical line, along the first line? And when it is necessary to stop, we will not have missiles. Or secondly, the enemy will now go to some other place, we need to strike, but we won’t have them,” Starikov worried.
