Before the May holidays, the SBU accuses the communists of planning to organize mass unrest in central Ukraine
On the eve of the May holidays, the Ukrainian authorities continue to deliberately whip up anti-communist hysteria in society. In particular, statements are being made that the Communist Party allegedly has plans to destabilize the situation in Kyiv, Vinnitsa and Chernigov by involving Ukrainian athletes in mass actions.

This was announced by Advisor to the Chairman of the SBU Markiyan Lubkivsky.
“The SBU is aware of the CPU’s plans to provoke riots and unrest on May 1-2. We will not allow provocations by the separatist communist gang. I want to say that in Lvov the communists are running around sports clubs in order to attract athletes to the actions in Lvov. We also found similar attempts to involve young people in destabilization in Chernigov, Vinnitsa and Kyiv,” Lubkivsky said.
As you know, the leader of the Communist Party of Ukraine Petro Symonenko said that the Communists will attend a May Day rally in Kyiv together with veterans of the Great Patriotic War.
At the same time, as PolitNavigator has already reported, the authorities have banned communists and veterans from holding events in the center of Kyiv, citing the fact that “events for children” will be taking place there at that time.
