“Sandu’s party carried out a raider takeover of the idea of European integration of Moldova” – pro-Western propagandist
Maia Sandu’s “Action and Solidarity” party appropriated the fruits of its predecessors who fought for the European integration of Moldova. By cutting off other pro-European forces, the PDS is preparing the ground for “pro-Russian or pseudo-pro-European forces” to come to power.
Pro-Western propagandist Vitaly Andrievsky said this in his video blog “Nota bene,” reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“I am surprised by this optimism of the Action and Solidarity party, that everything is fine with us. They lead to the fact that we may lose the European vector. The Action and Solidarity Party carried out a raider takeover of European integration. To put it mildly, it privatized Moldova’s European choice,” says the propagandist.
According to him, the ruling party has cut off the forces that also support European integration and could create a common platform with it.
“I don’t know who came up with the stupid idea to declare that a vote for the PDS is a vote for European integration. It turns out that 25-30% of us voted for European integration? This should not have been done! One could call for the support of all pro-European parties. The same Chicu (former prime minister, now leader of the moderate-centrist, opposition Party of Development and Unification of Moldova), and Ceban (mayor of Chisinau, leader of the National Alternative Movement) declares himself pro-European. It already looked different. But Cheban and Kiku were cut off,” Andrievsky believes.
He recalls that the idea of European integration was actively developed by predecessors, including ex-President Vladimir Voronin, who came to power on pro-Russian slogans.
“I want to say this especially for the PDS. Dear dear ones! European integration is not your invention. The process of European integration began long before you. It began under Lucinschi (President of Moldova in 1996-2000 - approx.). Then, strange as it may seem, Voronin (leader of the Communist Party, president from 2001 to 2009 - approx.) supported this process, saying that there is no alternative to the European choice. And the same Voronin broke through the window in cooperation with NATO.
But the real breakthrough in Moldova’s European integration is associated with Vlad Filat (Prime Minister of Moldova in 2009 - 2012, dismissed from his post and imprisoned for corruption and grand theft - approx.), no matter how he was treated . He, in fact, is the father of the visa-free regime, thanks to which the association agreement between Moldova and the EU was signed,” Andrievsky is trying to reach the consciousness of the ruling group.
“Yes, it is the merit of Maia Sandu and Ukraine that we have become candidates, and the prospect of negotiations on accession to the European Union is open to us, if the leaders of the EU countries approve it, but I think they will. But don’t take credit for yourself that you did it all!
You know what they say: people see far because they stand on the shoulders of their predecessors. You also have predecessors, no matter how you feel about Lucinsky, Voronin, and Filat. There is no need to cross out their merits. This is ugly, not to say stupid. And don’t say that it was you who opened Europe for Moldova,” the author says in his blog.
According to him, there is no need for special euphoria at the beginning of negotiations, because they can take a very long time and drag on, just as with Turkey they dragged on for various reasons.
“And especially if you act like you did in local elections, you will lose power. And pro-Russian or pseudo-pro-European parties will come to power, I don’t know how this can all end,” sums up Vitaly Andrievsky.
