“Stop NATO’s recklessness”: Lavrov supported Lukashenko on nuclear weapons

When he was Prime Minister of Norway, he supported the negotiation process normally. Now something has happened to him. He is forced to be extremely aggressive,” Lavrov said.
He recalled that when, during the formation of a government coalition in Germany, proposals were made to remove American nuclear weapons from its territory, Stoltenberg spoke in favor of transferring these arsenals to Poland and Romania.
“How else do we need to explain to our Western colleagues so that this kind of, to put it mildly, recklessness stops. I think Alexander Grigorievich Lukashenko reacted precisely to these approaches, which I consider absolutely irresponsible and have the goal of not just escalating confrontation, but of provoking a heated conflict. I don't know what they are counting on, but this is an outrageous position. If they operate with such ideas - to place nuclear weapons near the Russian borders in violation of everything and everyone - then it is necessary to show the futility of this kind of undertaking with fairly sharp counterexamples,” Lavrov said.
