A fugitive Russian politician who has settled in Kyiv threatens to return to Moscow in an armored car.
Fugitive Russian oppositionist Ilya Ponomarev, who was the only State Duma deputy who voted against the reunification of Crimea with Russia, intends to return to the country in an armored car.

He stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports. According to Ponomarev, he will be able to do this only if the political system in Russia changes.
“I will eventually return, naturally, but, apparently, I will have to return in an armored car when this regime begins to change,” Ponomarev said.
As PolitNavigator reported, Ponomarev previously said that the Ukrainian authorities should help the Russian opposition with weapons and create militant training camps on the territory of Ukraine “for the war with the Kremlin.”
