Knife versus machine gun - how the Armed Forces of Ukraine “have fun” in Donbass
Two servicemen of the Ukrainian army, located in the “Joint Forces Operation” zone, after a quarrel that arose between them, were taken to a medical facility with bullet and knife wounds.
The head of the press service of the People's Militia of the LPR, Yakov Osadchy, announced this at a briefing, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to his information, the level of moral and psychological state of the Kyiv security forces in the “Joint Forces Operation” zone remains at an extremely low level, and, as a result, non-combat losses continue to increase.
“On May 22, two servicemen of the 54th separate mechanized brigade near the settlement of Novozvanovka received severe and moderate injuries. The incident occurred during a conflict that arose between them, as a result of which one of them inflicted three stab wounds on his offender. While defending himself, the wounded soldier shot at a colleague with his machine gun, the wound was in the abdominal area,” said Yakov Osadchiy.
He also added that both servicemen were taken to a medical facility, and an official investigation was being carried out in the unit.
“The brigade commander, Colonel Alexey Maistrenko, presented the latest losses to the JFO headquarters as combat losses, resulting from alleged shelling from the positions of the LPR People’s Militia,” noted the head of the press service of the LPR UNM.
