NEXTA makes excuses for a fake about Russian special forces in Minsk
The creator of the propaganda telegram channel “Nekhta”, which coordinates the Belarusian protests, Stepan Putilo confirmed that on the night after the presidential elections he posted a fake about the participation of Russian special forces in the dispersal of protesters.
He said this in an interview with the YouTube channel "vDud", reports a correspondent for "PolitNavigator".

“There were a lot of rumors the day before that Lukashenko deliberately increased 80% for himself in order to attract the Russian army so that they could help him suppress all these protests. There were a lot of videos of some equipment coming from Russia. We checked this, of course, but...
Firstly, the video was of very poor quality, and we still trusted the subscribers. They thought that he saw this Russian chevron on the back of the helmet. In principle, from some angles it really seemed like they were Russian special forces.
As it turned out, no. There was a wild stream of messages. I think it’s excusable, all the other 97% were confirmed,” Putilo said.
The Nekhta channel has been repeatedly caught with fakes. He lied about strikes at Belarusian factories, while the factories were actually working, and also about the deaths of protestors who were actually alive. No refutations were subsequently published on the channel.
