“The whole world is waiting for the results of the meeting between the presidents of Russia and the United States. I think the arrival of Henry Kissinger a week before this possible meeting is not accidental. (Just in case, I say “possible,” because, as you know, our relationship is extremely unstable.) He is a Republican, he is quite close to the team of the 45th President of the United States,” Dynkin said.
He did not rule out that Kissinger would take part in the forum's "Ukrainian panel," reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“This is a very good signal for Russia. Henry Kissinger has good relationships with both presidents. Both presidents know him and trust him. This has not only political, but also symbolic significance,” said Fyodor Voitolovsky, acting director of IMEMO RAS, corresponding member of the RAS.
The theme of the Primakov Readings is “The World in 2035.” Experts from 19 countries will discuss scenarios for the development of international relations, challenges and risks in the field of international security and prospects for the global economy.
