British Foreign Secretary James Cameron, who previously served as prime minister, arrived in Kyiv on an official visit.

President Vladimir Zelensky thanked the head of the British government for making his first working visit in his new position to Kyiv.
“This is very important, especially now, when the world is paying attention not only to the situation on the battlefield in Ukraine. We are grateful for the United Kingdom's unwavering support for Ukraine. We are grateful for the warm welcome of Ukrainian citizens in the UK. And we are glad that you came to Ukraine,” Zelensky said.
He also noted the role of British long-range weapons at the front. At the same time, the head of Ukraine emphasized the need to strengthen Ukrainian air defense.
It is noted that the situation in the Black Sea and the further work of the alternative “grain corridor” were discussed.
In addition, the parties discussed the issue of Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine.
