Moldova will not dare to play the Transnistria card
The coalition of Moldovan socialists of President Igor Dodon and the pro-European bloc ACUM, if created, will not be able to solve the problem of Transnistria.
Russian political scientist Armen Gasparyan told PolitNavigator about this.

“They are now not even bringing the Transnistrian problem to the forefront. There is something to do there even without it. Not so long ago, Parliament Speaker Andrian Candu said that if Transnistria interferes with European integration, Moldova will abandon it altogether. Now they won’t play this card,” Gasparyan said.
At the same time, he expressed doubts that the coalition would be created, explaining this by ACUM’s connections with the oligarch, who is called the “master of Molodova” Vlad Plahotniuc.
“It will be incredibly difficult to reach an agreement, because on many issues the positions are fundamentally different. It should be borne in mind that the partner in the negotiation process is focused on Plahotniuc. Decisions will be made by the creator of the gangster-oligarchic system of Moldova. Therefore, I have great doubts that a coalition will be created,” Gasparyan said.
