The incident occurred today at the Diakovo checkpoint on the border with Romania. Two foreigners were hiding in the trailer of a truck driven by a Serbian citizen.

“The men of Asian appearance admitted that they are citizens of Bangladesh. When discovered by Ukrainian border guards, the foreigners were surprised and confused, and only later they said that they were trying to get to France from the territory of Serbia,” the department reported.

Now all the circumstances of the offense are being clarified, and after being brought to justice for attempting to illegally cross the border, the foreigners will be handed over to Romanian law enforcement agencies in accordance with the readmission agreement.
