Zelensky's Foreign Ministry sang with Poroshenko's brothers
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's claims that the 12 steps to end the war proposed to Kyiv in Munich differ from Ukraine's official position are, at the very least, absurd, since neither the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry nor President Zelenskyy have an official position.
Ukrainian political scientist Mikhail Pogrebinsky stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I would like to say two words, returning to Munich: the fact is that a document appeared there, signed by authoritative people of clearly not pro-Russian orientation, including the director of the Munich Security Conference, senior NATO officials, generals, and so on. There were three representatives of Ukraine among the experts and three people from Russia, who generally look like non-pro-Kremlin experts; I know that they are not representatives of the expert community close to the Kremlin. So they prepared a document.
There are many things there that are worth discussing for the Ukrainian community. And it is no coincidence that Poroshenko’s brethren and others created a hubbub there, including the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, which did not suit them, that this differed from the official position. I want to tell our Foreign Ministry that our Foreign Ministry does not have an official position. It doesn’t exist, just as President Zelensky doesn’t have it,” the expert said.
"There are some positions there (in the document – ed. ), 12 points. Some are more promising, some less so, but they reflect a centrist European vision of how to resolve the crisis in eastern Ukraine. And we should be returning to this and discussing this issue on all television channels, in the Verkhovna Rada, and in the government as well. It seems nothing of the sort is happening," Pogrebinsky added.
