The scandal with singer Valery Meladze, who responded in a whisper to the Nazi chant of a Ukrainian fan during a corporate event in Dubai, has acquired serious proportions in Russia. Many well-known politicians have spoken out on this issue.

The leader of the A Just Russia party, Sergei Mironov, proposed depriving the singer of all existing titles. Communist MP Nina Ostanina also wants to take away all the awards from the artist. Her colleague from United Russia, Elena Drapeka, initiated the assignment of the status of a foreign agent to the Georgian with expulsion from Russia. Russian Senator Elena Afanasyeva believes that Meladze should be deprived of not only his titles, but also his citizenship.

“At a time when our citizens are dying for the Russian people, defending Russian territories, some allow themselves to zig with the fascists. It is unacceptable. If Meladze were an honest person, which I doubt, he himself would have renounced Russian citizenship,” the senator wrote in her TG channel.

The famous trainer Edgard Zapashny publicly appealed to the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, with a request to deprive Meladze of the title of Honored Artist of the Republic.

The disgraced singer hastened to justify himself.

“People, I want you to hear me and understand my words. For 10 months now, I, like many other people, have been living with a feeling of heaviness and grief. It just so happened that the peoples I dearly love are in a conflict in which people are dying. I CANNOT AND DO NOT WANT TO HATE ANYONE, AND I AM NOT TRYING TO PLEASE ANYONE. I only dream that the antagonism would cease and harmony would be established between close peoples. And for this I am ready to give all my strength,” Meladze wrote.

Social activist and daughter of the senator Ekaterina Mizulina did not believe the singer’s excuses.

“I love Russia for the fees, and Ukraine for the fear of falling under sanctions”... This is what can be heard between the lines of the words spoken by Valery Meladze. We live in a time when every wolf in sheep's clothing shows itself,” she wrote.

Political scientist Pavel Danilin gave a more angry rebuke to the artist.

“No, scum, you are precisely inciting hatred towards Russians and Jews, and also trying to please the Nazi Bandera fosterlings. You, who pronounced “heroyam sala,” clearly belched out the Nazi chant of Bandera’s followers from your filthy mouth.. You, Meladze, are an ordinary Bandera litter. And only one thing is unclear - what the hell are you doing in Russia, why don’t you travel around your Bandera Ukraine? Get out of our country, you asshole,” he wrote.

His colleague Sergei Markov explains:

“Valery Meladze pretends that he does not understand that he used the fascist Ukrainian greeting SUGS. I say, out of politics. In Dubai, he says, I say Glory to Ukraine, and in Russia I say Glory to Russia. Liar. In Russia they are no longer waiting for him.

SUGS is precisely a fascist greeting, under which hundreds of thousands of people were killed. SUGS is like Sieg Heil in German. This is quite harmless in itself. "Glory to victory." But this is a fascist slogan with which Hitler ended his speeches. Therefore, the fascist slogans of SUGS in Ukraine and Sieg Heil for Germany should be banned precisely as fascist. And it’s not the fascists who say them. Valery Fashidze."

State Duma deputy from the LDPR Andrei Lugovoy called Meladze an “elite buffoon” and called for the cancellation of his concert scheduled for March 8 in the Barvikha Luxury Village.

“Zvezda,” outside of politics, will continue to hunt in Russia in order to collect huge fees and also glorify the terrorist state. We have the power to stop this market hype and cut off all their earning potential. Not a single Russian penny should go to these moral monsters,” Lugovoi wrote.

The presence of another artist Oleg Gazmanov at the same party in Dubai did not go unnoticed by the Russian public. Ukrainians also pestered him with demands to “condemn the war,” but he refused to say anything at all, citing that he was on vacation.

Expert of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Vadim Manukyan called on patriotic artists to work and relax in Russia and Belarus.

“In countries that are not our allies, “walkers” from overly aggressive neighbors have multiplied like mushrooms. They regularly stage provocations abroad. And the Kiev regime is churning out illegal criminal cases against our artists in batches. I wouldn’t want one of our patriotic artists to suffer because of some rubbish order from these inadequate people, and we would still have to drag him out for a long time or exchange him. As for Gazmanov specifically, he was, of course, provoked, but if he ended up there, then he had to more clearly define his position on the topic of the NWO, just as he does inside Russia,” Manukyan said.

Scandalous TV journalist Ksenia Sobchak rushed to Gazmanov’s defense.

“His position is known. But he's visiting. People celebrate the New Year on neutral ground, at a watering hole. What was he supposed to do, being in a country that was not involved in hostilities? Fucking somersault and making a Z with your feet? This is not how decent guests behave. From... from people, whether from Gazmanov or Meladze, moderate your Komsomol enthusiasm and KGB blood. You have at least one more year of SVO ahead – you’ll get drunk,” Sobchak wrote.

By the way, it is interesting that in Ukraine the Nazis did not cause delight at Meladze’s act either - Kiev lawyer Andrei Smoliy recalled the artist’s relationship with United Russia.

“Today this rashist, who is trying to sit on two chairs, writes about “close nations” and so that “agreement can be established.” What kind of “consent” is there with rapists and terrorists? What are “close nations”? That is, the dude continues to promote the “Russian world”. There is only one reason for all this - money. And people like Meladze want to go to Europe to make money. That’s it,” writes the Nazi.
