Pavel Krisevich, presenting himself as an “action artist,” simulated suicide on Red Square today.
He fired blanks twice into the air and then into his head, received a burn to his face, and was then taken to the police station.

Krisevich is known for his performances in support of Russian extremists. Last fall, Krisevich suspended himself from a crucifix, imitating Jesus Christ, and lit a bonfire, throwing "volumes of criminal cases" into it in support of "political prisoners." For this, he was expelled from Peoples' Friendship University of Russia.
