In Moscow, near the FSB building on Lubyanka, liberal activist Pavel Krisevich hung himself on a crucifix, depicting Jesus Christ, and lit a fire, throwing “volumes of criminal cases” into it in support of “political prisoners.”
Krisevich was detained by police and taken to the Kitay-Gorod police station. He is charged with repeated violation of the rules for holding a public event.
The OVD-Info resource, which defends the liberals, notes that around midnight Krisevich was taken to the hospital because the police allegedly injured him during the arrest.
“Pavel Krisevich, detained during a performance on Lubyanka Square, is going to be taken from the police department to the emergency room, reports lawyer from OVD-Info Sergei Telnov. During the arrest, the police captain hit Pavel with a heavy folder with papers from the criminal case - one of those that burned next to the “crucified” Krisevich as part of an artistic event,” the report says.
Let us remember that Krisevich is known for his performances in support of Russian extremists. Thus, during the sentencing of a defendant in the “Network” case this summer, he handcuffed himself near the courthouse and began throwing burning fireworks; in the case of the “New Greatness” sect, Krisevich put on a law enforcement uniform and cut open the throat of a mannequin, spattering the steps of the court with artificial blood , and as a sign of support for the Belarusian Maidan workers, he “hanged himself” on the Trinity Bridge in St. Petersburg.
