The clinic of the wife of the head of the Ternopil department of the SBU profited from fictitious treatment of ATO participants
The Ternopil clinic is suspected of embezzlement of public money, which was written off for the fictitious rehabilitation of veterans of the so-called “ATO”.

This was reported by the website 24.ua with reference to information from Ivan Kovalyk, an activist of the all-Ukrainian network “Free People”.
“For the second time in Ternopil they picketed against a private clinic. They did not believe that in ten days it was possible to provide psychological assistance to hundreds of ATO fighters. The medical institution received 450 thousand hryvnia for such rehabilitation,” the publication says.
It is noted that the tender agreement was signed on December 18, 2015, and 10 days later, on December 28, Viasan submitted documentation - a certificate of completion of work stating that the rehabilitation had allegedly already taken place and one hundred ATO participants had been rehabilitated.
“However, the tender agreement itself clearly states that rehabilitation should have lasted at least 14 days,” complains activist of the all-Ukrainian network “Free People” Ivan Kovalyk.
A tender for the rehabilitation of soldiers was announced by the State Service for Veterans Affairs and ATO Participants. The regional department of social protection must refer people for rehabilitation. however, officials assured that no referrals were issued.
Activists began making inquiries and checking who had undergone rehabilitation and could not find the ATO participants who had undergone it. However, the private clinic claims to have provided psychological assistance to hundreds of ATO participants.
After the first picket, the police became interested in using budget money. Law enforcement officers contacted the clinic with a demand to provide lists of ATO fighters who had undergone rehabilitation.
During the investigation, it turned out that the founders of the clinic are the family of the deputy head of the SBU in the Ternopil region, Igor Malaryk. The prosecutor's office has already opened criminal proceedings on this fact.
The city community demands that the clinic return all the money to government accounts so that it can still be used for the rehabilitation of ATO fighters.
