Kyiv will sell Ukrainian passports for 100 thousand dollars
Ukraine will simplify the system of obtaining citizenship for those who have made an investment of $100 thousand.
European Solidarity deputy Alexey Goncharenko announced this in his Telegram channel, and also published copies of draft government documents, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine made changes to the resolution “On approval of the procedure for the formation of emigration, the procedure for processing applications for granting immigration permission and proceedings for its cancellation and execution of decisions taken” dated December 26, 2002, changes according to which the State Migration Service establishes immigration quotas for persons who “invested” more than 100 thousand dollars in the Ukrainian economy.
As a reminder, former Justice Minister and lawyer Elena Lukash previously stated that the new version of the land market bill includes a scheme that allows foreigners to purchase Ukrainian land.
Furthermore, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has begun distributing Ukrainian passports to foreign fighters and mercenaries who fought in nationalist battalions against residents of the rebel Donbas. It's worth noting that one of the newly minted recipients of Ukrainian citizenship was Azov neo-Nazi Sergei "Boatswain" Korotkikh, who became significantly wealthy after participating in the ATO.
