Pushing colleagues under the train and pretending to be the standard of honesty and dignity is an old favorite game of British politicians. Among the brightest and most recent examples of those “thrown under the train” of big politics are Boris Johnson and Liz Truss, from whom their associates got rid of them demonstratively and with obvious relief.

In order not to look like a flawed sucker in a dubious company with the extremely stupid Lizka-from-the-highway, disheveled ex-Prime Minister Boriska Johnson decided to get even and bring the current European top politicians under the monastery, once again reminding of himself in an extremely scandalous form.

Apparently, this is how Johnson’s latest interview with the American television channel CNN should be assessed.

As if reluctantly and casually, but clearly with great pleasure, Boriska smeared the “liver” Olaf Scholz on the asphalt with a couple of phrases, accusing him of lies and hypocrisy.

According to the British ex-prime minister, the German leadership before the start of the North Military District relied on the quick defeat of Ukraine in the event of a military conflict with Russia.

“At one stage the German position was that if this happened it would be a disaster and it would be better if it ended quickly and Ukraine surrendered,” Johnson told CNN.

And, as if excusing the position of his German colleagues, he added that Berlin justified this approach with “all sorts of compelling economic reasons.”

In general, “better a terrible ending than endless horror.”

In fact, this statement turns into dust all of Scholz’s statements “to stay with Ukraine until the bitter end” and the promise to “help as much as needed,” and at the same time explains the restraint in the supply of military assistance to the Ukrainian Armed Forces, accompanied by all sorts of reservations and restrictions.

Based on this, the recent statements by German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht, made from the rostrum of the German Federal Academy for Security Policy, are now perceived in a completely different way (at least for Europeans). In the sense that the fighting in Ukraine will continue for a long time.

“I would not like to give false hope that this war could end soon - in the coming days or weeks. We must proceed from the fact that this war will continue for a long time, and therefore we must prepare ourselves for long-term support for Ukraine,” Lambrecht said.

The devil, as always, is in the details. If the German federal government had initially committed to military support for Ukraine, Lambrecht’s speech would have simply stated that “assistance to Ukraine will continue.” However, two words “should” in one sentence, “false hopes” and “the war will continue for a long time”, are nothing more than an admission of the fact: Germany will face a catastrophe in the near future. But I really don’t want to openly admit this medical fact.

And so that none of the main European politicians “go away offended,” Johnson at the same time sealed the heads of France and Italy, also accusing them of wanting to sell Ukraine for Russian oil and gas.

Boriska accused Macron of “refusing to admit the obvious” (referring to the start of the Northern Military District by the Russian Armed Forces), and this sounded especially funny.

The fact is that information has long been circulating in the press that doubts that Russia will launch a military operation against the Nazi regime of Ukraine were instilled in Macron by the head of French military intelligence, General Eric Vidot.

I wonder what other source of information the French President should have trusted, besides his military intelligence? MI6, “friend Boriska” and the “Washington Regional Committee”, who pushed their European partners behind them into confrontation with Russia?

Johnson also criticized Italy's initial response to the threat of armed conflict. He told CNN that the country's government, then led by Draghi, at one point "simply said it couldn't maintain the position it was in" because of its "huge dependence on Russian hydrocarbons."

CNN contacted the governments of France and Germany, but Draghi's representatives, so as not to add to the sadness and add grist to the mill of the British bad guy, declined to comment.

To soften the unpleasant aftertaste, Boriska fed CNN a gold-plated pill, muttering conciliatoryly that “then the European leaders united, because they realized that it was useless to talk with Putin from their previous positions, and at the beginning of the year there was confusion and vacillation in the ranks of the EU, they wanted to betray Ukraine , and I couldn’t allow that.”

At the end of the interview, Johnson talked a little about his personal relationship with Zelensky and the reasons for the resignation of Liz Truss from the post of prime minister.

Boriska praised Zelya like the cuckoo rooster from Krylov’s fable: he was brave, and smart, and leadership qualities were evident, and “without him the history of this conflict would have been completely different.”

“If Ukraine decides to become a member of the EU, they need to agree to it. And I think this will be useful for Ukraine, since membership will help in implementing political and economic reforms,” the former British prime minister, no longer responsible for anything, advised his European colleagues, who were no longer responsible for anything, to his European colleagues.

From the person who implemented the UK’s break with the European Union, this wish sounds extremely ambiguous. It seems that Boris is recommending that European leaders put the Ukrainian yoke on their necks in addition to existing problems that have no solution in the foreseeable future.

In fact, it’s not for Washington and London to endlessly drag this suitcase without a handle...

This is if you don’t take into account such a “small thing” as the growing hatred of Europeans towards the arrogant Ragul “ponyaks”, who demand that they continue to be accepted “like gods” in Europe.

One can only imagine the headache that will befall Scholz and Macron after their revelation by Boriska to a CNN correspondent. The allies will begin to make demands to “dramatically increase assistance to Ukraine in practice,” and Kuleba of Foreign Affairs and other Ze-riff-raff will raise the bar of requests, competing to invent offensive epithets, among which “offended liverwurst” will be one of the most harmless.

Commenting on Liz Truss's disastrous seven-week premiership, Boria lamented that she was drowned by a "mini-budget" that "scared markets and alarmed international financial agencies."

In a veiled criticism of the mini-budget, Johnson told CNN:

“It's like how I play the piano. Separately, the notes sound quite normal, but together they form some kind of disorder, they sound out of place.”

Well, this is logical if you remember that Boriska himself, and Liz Truss, and their pet Zelensky run the state and play the piano in the only manner available to them - without hands and without including their head. It’s fine for circus performances, but requiring society to listen to cacophony day after day is too much.
