The State Council of Crimea canceled the sale of the Yalta film studio

Simferopol, September 10 (PolitNavigator, Kirill Boyarin) – Today, at an extraordinary session, the Crimean parliament canceled its own resolutions of November 17, 1999 and September 19, 2001, according to which the Yalta Film Studio became a joint-stock company and was sold into private hands.

Let us recall that on September 2 of this year, the Council of Ministers of Crimea adopted a resolution on the forced purchase of the Yalta film studio in favor of the republic. According to the chairman of the Crimean branch of the Union of Cinematographers of Russia Valery Pavlotos, the film studio should be bought out as soon as possible and transferred to the balance of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
