An expert commented on the bad sign at Zelensky’s inauguration
The promises made by Vladimir Zelensky at the inauguration ceremony about striving for peace in Donbass are non-binding populism; the real intentions of the new President of Ukraine will become obvious after personnel appointments in the relevant departments.
Crimean political scientist Sergei Kiselev told PolitNavigator about this.
“It is quite difficult to expect anything from Zelensky - he hardly has the necessary professional training, knowledge and skills to solve such problems. We must expect from those around him. When it becomes clear who will be appointed to what positions, when the political system of Ukraine is established, then we can expect something. So far today, nothing but populism can be expected from him,” the expert said.
Kiselyov also commented on the fall of the presidential ID during the inauguration ceremony in the Verkhovna Rada hall.
“As for the signs, there was a bad sign back in 89, when Ukraine adopted the law on languages. And everything else, any incident that is happening today within the political system in Ukraine, can be perceived as a bad sign.
The Ukrainian state has no future within the framework of the ideology and policies it pursues.
Just as Poroshenko’s reign ended ingloriously with this constant fall of the people who surround him, here, too, everyone will probably drop everything, lose everything, and we will see a lot of interesting documents that will be lost literally or in quotes by the administration of the new President,” Kiselev said.
