Ex-Rada deputy explained why Zelensky gave complete freedom to neo-Nazis
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky and his team deliberately support the permissiveness of Ukrainian nationalists, thus deliberately filling with them a niche that could be occupied by serious constructive opposition.
Ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy from the Communist Party Spiridon Kilinkarov stated this on the Rossiya-1 TV channel, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Regarding nationalists: why do you think these people regularly appear on Ukrainian television? Does anyone really think that nationalists are actually opposing Zelensky?
They are part of this power! It is the authorities, by allowing them to appear in the media, that are actually filling the niche of the opposition with nationalists, in order to show that if not us, then these crazy ones. That is, we can do whatever we want, don’t criticize us or touch us, because if we get shot down, then these guys will come.
This is precisely the idea, and it is not for nothing that these people end up in the media, and that is why criminal cases are not brought against them, that is why they are released from the courtroom, that is why they have preferences, and they act outside the law, because this the authorities directly allow them to do...
This is an integral part of the current Ukrainian government, this is the strategy for maintaining power, that’s why they behave this way,” Kilinkarov said.
