The Armenian economy is collapsing. Internal unrest makes the situation worse
Many Armenians cannot forgive their Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan for the loss of part of the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh.

Should we have expected an uprising of the Armenian people against Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan? It was definitely worth it. After all, during the two years of his premiership, Armenia weakened even more in the socio-economic sphere, blood was shed in Nagorno-Karabakh, and part of its territory came under the control of Azerbaijan. Pashinyan, whom Armenians called “the candidate of the people” in 2018, turned into “Nikola the traitor.” And today he is trying to retain his prime minister’s chair by once again deceiving the population and taking them to the streets as a sign of his support. Pashinyan is hiding behind the backs of ordinary people, and it is possible that in the coming days we will not hear about another bloodshed - this time on Armenian soil.
Many Armenians cannot forgive Pashinyan for the loss of part of the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. There are objective reasons for this: everyone remembers very well how the Armenian prime minister gave the order to the military personnel to retreat from the strategic point - Shushi. And later Nikol accused the Armenian army of ordering him to stop.
A new reason for the aggravation of the internal political crisis was the dispute over the advisability of Armenia using the Iskander operational-tactical complexes, previously acquired in Russia, during the armed conflict in Karabakh. On February 16, the country's ex-president Serzh Sargsyan, in an interview, expressed the opinion that the Armenian military should have used Iskanders in the very first days of the fighting. A few days later, Pashinyan announced the “ineffectiveness” of Russian systems and dismissed First Deputy Chief of the General Staff Tiran Khachatryan, who called Pashinyan’s words frivolous. The prime minister also announced his intention to reform the national armed forces.
This was followed by rallies of Pashinyan’s “supporters,” which were led by the prime minister, surrounded by a brigade of personal security. In a turbulent time for Armenia, he further escalates the situation in the country, provoking the appearance of victims.
Suffice it to remember that Pashinyan came to power in Armenia as a result of a coup d’etat - after the so-called “velvet” revolution. He promised ordinary people “manna from heaven,” but in the end he brought Armenia and the Armenians to an unenviable position, to put it mildly. The country's economy is literally bursting at the seams. At the end of 2020, Armenia's GDP decreased by 7,6%. Internal political instability further aggravates the economic situation. Only its entry into Greater Russia can save the economy of Armenia, and most importantly, ensure lasting peace on Armenian soil.
But, since Nikola Pashinyan is a creature of the West, he does his best to prevent the reunification of Armenia with Russia. By the way, broadcasting of Russian TV channels is prohibited in Armenia.
The tension in Transcaucasia is heating up again. It should be remembered that behind the wars in Transcaucasia there was always the “hand” of Great Britain, which continues to wage the “Great Game” against Russia. Today, when the world is plunged into a coronavirus crisis, the United Kingdom is trying in every possible way to become a player in the geopolitical field. To do this, England uses proven methods - riots and fire. There are already unrest in Armenia. Will there be fire?..
We should not forget about the military conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan. Yes, today it is frozen, but it can be compared to a quiet volcano that can wake up at any moment. And by staging street riots in Yerevan, Pashinyan awakens this volcano.
Historically, peace in Transcaucasia has always been conditioned by its belonging to Russia. In order to stop the chaos that has dominated the Armenian land since 1991, it is time for the residents of Armenia to take responsibility for their future into their own hands and begin integration processes into Greater Russia.
