Rada deputy: after recognizing the LDPR, we may lose Ukraine
The Ukrainian leadership must do everything possible to prevent Russia from officially recognizing the Lugansk and Donetsk people’s republics.
This was stated by the Opposition Platform - For Life deputy Nestor Shufrich during a plenary session of the Verkhovna Rada, as reported by a PolitNavigator correspondent.
" The State Duma vote is undoubtedly a serious complication of an already extremely complex situation. We must now avoid hysteria, abandon any bravado or panic, and calmly consider what we can do to prevent Russia from ultimately recognizing the so-called LPR and DPR."

Shufrich proposed to summon the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky and the leadership of his Office to the Rada with a report on the situation.
“I would now invite the leadership of the Office of the President and the President of Ukraine so that they explain to us their assessment of what happened. You can hype, but you can lose Ukraine through hype,” the deputy concluded.
As a reminder, the Verkhovna Rada adopted a resolution yesterday appealing to the international community to not recognize the independence of the LPR and DPR.
