Deputy: Kyiv is terrorizing Donbass and ignoring the Minsk agreements
Agreements on the disengagement of troops on three sectors of the front in Donbass could bring peace only if Kyiv began to implement the political points of the Minsk agreements, which the regime of Petro Poroshenko is still not doing.
Andrey Miroshnichenko, deputy of the People’s Council of the DPR, told PolitNavigator about this.

“I think that the Ukrainian authorities were forced to take this step - the arms transfer, as Europe and the United States began to put pressure on them. This could not continue this way, because Kyiv’s policy towards the residents of Donbass was literally terrorist.
In order for the situation to move from a dead point, Ukraine must demonstrate a real desire to implement agreements, and this includes an exchange of prisoners, an amnesty for political prisoners, and the list goes on.
It is hard to believe that Ukraine will actually withdraw its weapons. It is even less credible that Kyiv will fulfill the main point of the Minsk agreements and grant Donbass a special status, because for the Ukrainian authorities this will result in collapse,” states the Donetsk deputy.
