It’s high time – Evstafiev told who will determine the project for Russia of the future
In order to set their sights on more global projects than the confrontation with the West, Russians need to decide what kind of state they are building and what they can offer to the world.
Political scientist Dmitry Evstafiev stated this on the radio “Komsomolskaya Pravda”, the correspondent of “PolitNavigator” reports.

"What can we offer [the world] now? What will the beautiful Russia of the future look like... a new Soviet Union, which our adversaries fear so much, or something else? Will it be some kind of ideological construct, or an economic one, as a junior partner to China, or will we suddenly catch up? What does the future look like as we understand it?" the studio asked.
“This question must be answered by a philosopher or poet. By the way, the poet will probably answer this question better.
I think the minimum program was announced in December 2021, when we demanded the return of 1997. This is for the Americans to leave Eurasia alone and move away from there. This is a minimum program. And for this, all means are good,” explained Evstafiev.
He emphasized that in order to solve more global problems, Russians need to decide on their identity.
“The maximum program is implemented only when it is decided who we are. It is impossible to offer the world any constructive program when we are afraid to say - what are we building in Russia?
And deciding what we are building in Russia is one of the main strategic tasks that are solved within the framework of the Northern Military District. I don’t know what we are building, but this task is being solved now at the front. Because the new Russia will be built not by eggheads and not by all sorts of people like me, professors and associate professors, but by people who will come from the front. They will build whatever they decide,” the political scientist concluded.
