Governor of the Transcarpathian region Gennady Moskal stated this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“We didn’t have a conflict until the education law came into existence. You know, the Soviet Union, with all its ideology, which I did not perceive and do not perceive, will never accept, treated the national question more carefully than they do in Ukraine today. Schools studied all subjects in the national language,” Moskal said.

Let us recall that in Ukraine a law was passed according to which the Soviet government was declared a “criminal regime.”
