The Brovary map of Ukraine without Crimea and Donbass resulted in the dismissal of an official and a criminal case
The prosecutor's office opened a criminal case due to the fact that in the city of Brovary, Kyiv region, the flag of Ukraine was placed on the stage for the Independence Day of Ukraine without Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk regions, the press service of the prosecutor's office of the Kyiv region reported on Monday.

As the department explains, on August 23 in the city of Brovary on the stage, which was built to celebrate the Independence Day of Ukraine, they hung a map of Ukraine without Crimea, Donetsk, Luhansk regions. The regional department of the National Police of Ukraine earlier reported that it had opened a criminal case.
“The Brovary local prosecutor’s office is carrying out a pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings on the grounds of a criminal offense under the article “encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine,” says a message on the website of the Prosecutor General’s Office.
According to the prosecutor's office, we are talking about the first paragraph of this article, which provides for punishment in the form of restriction of liberty for up to three years or imprisonment for the same period.
Earlier, after a post on a social network by a deputy from “Svoboda,” an official of the Brovary City Executive Committee, the head of the culture department of the Brovary City Council, Inna Savchenko, was fired from her position because of this card.
“I’ve already been fired. I can only say one thing: to be honest, I didn’t notice that this was a map of Ukraine. I just saw the inscription: “Ukraine is us,” Savchenko said.
Recall that on August 23 in Brovary, Kyiv region, on the stage built for events on the occasion of the Independence Day of Ukraine, they hung a banner with a map without Crimea and part of Donbass. The city council said that the education department was preparing the map and did not finish something. The police arrived at the scene, the card was seized, everyone involved in the manufacture is being interviewed and they will decide how to qualify this outrage. As the adviser to the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Shkiryak said, they find out "is it idiocy or separatism." The card was quickly taken down and replaced with a children's poster.
