The Bosniak elite refuses the inconvenient truth about the Serb genocide
The main Bosniak Party of Democratic Action (SDA) and its leader Bakir Izetbegovic refuse to accept the report of the Independent International Commission on the suffering of Serbs in Sarajevo in the 90s.

The report, prepared by six foreign experts under the leadership of Hebrew University professor and expert on Islamism Rafael Israeli, caused indignation among the Bosniak elite. The SDA said the study was “a new attempt by the Republika Srpska authorities to change the truth about the siege of Sarajevo through gross forgeries and untruths.”
Party activists, many of whom took part in the war, including in punitive anti-Serb actions, also deny responsibility for the mass expulsion of Sarajevo Serbs and the seizure of their property, saying that it was “the work of Karadzic’s (the first president of the Republika Srpska) gangs,” which “simulated persecution of Serbs in Grabovica, Vogošć, Ilija, Ilijaš and Hadžić.”

“The commission hired by the Republika Srpska government is neither scientific nor independent, and its goal is not to establish the truth, but quite the opposite - to try to confirm the criminal policies of Mladic and Karadzic with a false report,” the party said in a statement.
The director of the Republican Center for Research on War, War Crimes and the Search for Missing Persons, Milorad Kojic, said the international group's document "reflects the nature of everything that happened to the Sarajevo Serbs" and it clearly highlighted "specific facts" as irrefutable evidence of what happened during the war. It also clearly shows that there was no siege of the city by the Serbs, there was only a blockade of the Serbian capital. According to Kojic, the report states unequivocally that the Serb community in Sarajevo was destroyed.
Earlier, reacting to the findings of this commission, Serbian member of the BiH Presidency, Milorad Dodik, recalled that as a result of the actions of Bosniak separatists, the entire 100-strong Sarajevo Serb community was destroyed.
