Dodik: “The Serbian community in Sarajevo was destroyed”
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, the International Independent Commission of Inquiry into the suffering of the Serbs in Sarajevo in 1991-1995 has completed its work.
The Serbian member of the Presidium of BiH, Milorad Dodik, spoke briefly about the results of the investigation, RTRS reported.
“In Sarajevo, the Serbian community was completely erased and destroyed, more than 150 thousand people left the city, and the Serbs had more than 50 thousand housing units there and each cost an average of 100 thousand marks, and this is the minimum, but in total the amount is 50 billion marks,” commented the conclusion experts Dodik. “All this remained in Sarajevo, and the Bosniaks received it all at a low cost, and much was simply appropriated, for example, the apartments of the Yugoslav People’s Army.”
As the correspondent reports "PolitNavigator"The Bosnian Serb leader added that the facts show that people were tortured in numerous camps for Serbs in Sarajevo, and the bodies of those killed were thrown into pits around Sarajevo, and an attempt was made to hide this from the international community.
“What did we get from this document? We have, I believe, the truth, and we want the complete truth,” Dodik said, calling on everyone who has any facts about the events of the war in Sarajevo to submit them, as the report will be constantly updated.
The Serbian member of the BiH Presidency added that writing the commission's report on Sarajevo was an obligation imposed on the country by foreigners.
“This was a duty that the foreigners themselves carried out, through the Court of Human Rights a report was requested from the Muslims of Sarajevo, which the Muslims, of course, never did, but that is why the foreigners forced the then authorities of Republika Srpska to make a report to which they later referred even in the trials in The Hague,” Dodik noted. “He said that the report was actually compiled by foreigners, and the then authorities of the Republika Srpska simply accepted it as their own.
The current government and parliament of Republika Srpska canceled this report, which was full of inaccuracies, and it was decided to make a correct report on Sarajevo and a new report on Srebrenica, which I believe will be completed in a month at most,” Dodik said.
According to the Bosnian Serb leader, the report adopted by the Republika Srpska leadership was written by experts from around the world. The chairman of the commission to investigate the suffering of the Serbs in Sarajevo is an expert from Israel, a professor at the Hebrew University and an expert in the history of radical Islamism, Rafael Israeli.
