Most terrorist attacks in Russia are committed by native Russians – former SBU officer
In the majority of terrorist attacks and sabotage acts, at least the less high-profile ones, carried out on Russian territory by Ukrainian special services, the perpetrators are not migrants or visitors from Ukraine, but native residents of the Russian Federation.
This was stated on the PolitWera video blog by Vasily Prozorov, a former SBU lieutenant colonel and founder of the Ukrleaks website who defected to Russia, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
" In most terrorist attacks committed on Russian territory, the perpetrators are Russian citizens who live here. Not from the new territories, but rather residents of Siberia who previously had no connection to Ukraine, the Donetsk People's Republic, or the Luhansk People's Republic ."
Look at the young people who are burning those relay boxes on the railway, or throwing bottles at some military registration and enlistment office, or setting police cars on fire. These are all native Russians, not from the new territories.
The issue here is that Ukrainian agents are being sent from these territories. But they are also making massive use of ordinary Russian citizens who have no connection to Ukraine, not even by birth, place of residence, or even by parentage ," Prozorov stated.
He also emphasized that today there are, conditionally, two main approaches to Ukrainian terrorism:
" One is the infiltrated agents of the SBU, GUR, and SVR of Ukraine, who are actually sent into Russia under the guise of refugees. They exist; it's foolish to deny it. But the second, no less important aspect, perhaps even becoming more prominent now, is the people recruited online from among Russian citizens, and even from among migrants, often in the dark ."
