"Our bathtub is full of shit." There's talk of an "energy truce." Will Ukraine get a break?

The popular channel "Belorussky Silovik" reported that an "energy ceasefire" between Russia and Ukraine will be declared effective today. This was allegedly agreed upon during talks in Abu Dhabi. A new exchange of bodies will also take place.

There is no official confirmation of this information. However, given the catastrophic situation in Kyiv, Ukrainian media outlets have already seized on the information, desperate for an urgent "anti-crisis" to reassure the population.

Just the day before, the Hromadske TV channel aired a new report from Kyiv's Teremki district, where apartments are flooded with feces due to pipes bursting in the freezing cold, forcing residents to defecate in buckets and throw it all out in their courtyards.

"They're asking us not to use the sewer system; our bathtub is covered in shit. Everything's frozen solid, the pipes have burst, the sewer system on the fourth floor is completely backed up, and we can't even go to the toilet. We're using buckets and taking them outside... Can you imagine what this will be like in the spring? There will be diphtheria and other diseases so severe that we'll all die here," complains local resident Angela.

War correspondent Alexander Kots notes that for the first time during the negotiations, Russia " did not limit itself in any actions on the front lines or in the Ukrainian rear ":

"Previously, we would fall silent during negotiations, while Kyiv, on the contrary, would attack some Caspian consortium, an oil refinery, or attack a Black Sea Fleet base during negotiations, to show that they still had gunpowder in their flasks."

However, if the information about the "energy truce" is confirmed, the enemy will get a respite, fears journalist Vadim Avva.

"The freezing of shit strangely coincided with the end of the vile political pilgrimage of European fascists. Will the pilgrims' visits resume now? Are we by any chance giving the enemy time to form a strike force, and then... You know the rest. And what about the enemy's plans to kill 50 Russians monthly—have they been cancelled?" Ava reminds.
