As ex-Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Briginets reported on his Facebook page, the fact is that recently in Zaporozhye there was a meeting between the delegation of Motor Sich OJSC and representatives of the State Military-Industrial Committee of Belarus, where preliminary agreements were concluded on the possibility of expanding cooperation with Belarus.
“In particular, representatives of Motor Sich PJSC worked out the issue with the Belarusian defense industry about the deployment of new production facilities at the Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant for the production of small-sized gas turbine engines for cruise missiles. After the deployment of the corresponding production line, Belarus can begin production of engines in 2016 at the plant in Orsha, owned by Motor Sich. This issue is now being studied and a package of documents is being prepared for signing the agreement,” said the ex-deputy.
Thus, according to the deputy, Motor Sich is violating the ban on supplying Russia with spare parts for military equipment, since the products of the Orsha plant will be sent specifically to Russia.
As PolitNavigator reported, similar accusations had previously been made against the company.
