Belarusian refused to remove the red star from his car for a trip to Lithuania
On Monday, Lithuanian border guards did not allow a citizen of Belarus into Lithuania, whose car had Soviet symbols depicted - previously the authorities of the Baltic country equated it with Nazi symbols.

According to information from the State Border Guard Service of Lithuania (SOGGL), a citizen of the Republic of Belarus, born in 1995, wanted to enter on Monday through the Raigardas checkpoint. Lithuanian officials did not let him in because the car had Soviet symbols - a five-pointed star with a hammer and sickle was stuck on the rear window.
As SOGGL reported, a foreigner had the right to enter Lithuania, but either on foot or by car - first by removing the sticker. Because the driver refused to remove Soviet symbols, he was denied entry and returned to Belarus.
