Belomaidan workers in Minsk: “Russia has become the enemy”
A participant in Saturday's women's opposition march in Minsk called Russia "the enemy of a huge number of Belarusians." The woman voiced her concerns to an RT correspondent, but then resorted to generalizations, reports a PolitNavigator correspondent.
“If even before these elections we believed that Russia was our brothers, then after your reports, after the dirt that you pour on our country, you became our enemies. For a huge number of Belarusians, Russia has become an enemy,” the woman said.
A girl standing nearby began to object that not everyone in Russia is the enemy of Belarus. She named liberal politician Maxim Katz and the Dozhd TV channel as friends.
“I’m not talking about people, but about the state. Your state has become our enemy. A little more, and you will become our blood enemy,” the woman responded to the objections.
Another participant in the women's march burst out with insults against not only Russian journalists, but the President of the Russian Federation.
“The bedding of the plowman. Your lads in the bushes have chosen a godfather, but your holiday will be short-lived,” the woman said.
It is worth noting that the last Saturday's women's march was very small. Perhaps this was facilitated by the Belarusian security forces, who began arresting the participants at the gathering place of the participants - near the Komarovsky market.
There, the elderly Russophobe Nina Baginskaya, who became a symbol of the Saturday marches, once again got on a police bus. Before the arrest, “good lady Nina” managed to tell journalists that it was necessary to abolish the status of Russian as the second state language.
The old woman was again not taken to the police station, but dropped off far from the beginning of the protest site.
