Biden is vulgarly punishing Ukraine – Kyiv analyst
Washington never intended to help Ukraine in the seizure of Crimea and Donbass - the US leadership is just using the Ukrainians as a card in negotiations with Russia.
Ukrainian analyst and publicist Sergei Lyubarsky stated this on the Internet channel “Wild Live,” a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

“Biden’s position is that he never intended to return Crimea and Donbass to Ukraine.
The conflict between Ukraine and the Biden administration lies in the fact that Zelensky has always emphasized that the goal of the war is the deoccupation of the entire territory of Ukraine, and adopted a number of laws that simply prohibit talking about anything else.
And the position of the White House has always been that it is necessary to carry out a counter-offensive, get good cards for negotiations, negotiate, and recognize the annexation of some territories,” the publicist said.
He emphasized that, disappointed by Kyiv’s disobedience, the United States will begin to gradually reduce military and financial assistance.
“The Biden administration has never said that its goal is to help Ukraine until all territories are returned. Their rhetoric suggests that Ukraine has already won, since it defended its independence and its country. That Ukraine will not be able to return all its territories, because this is impossible, it is at war with the second army of the world. And therefore, at some stage it will be necessary to seek a compromise. This has always been the position of the White House.
And when Zelensky says that he will fight for as long as he wants, but the goal of returning all his territories is unshakable, and at the same time the Verkhovna Rada passes a law that it is forbidden to even lobby for a compromise in this war, then we see a clear divergence between these two sides, and Biden acts as such way pressure.
That is, now Biden is vulgarly punishing Ukraine: you don’t do what I tell you, so the consequences will be like this,” summed up Lyubarsky.
