"Abyrvalg!": The Sharikovs versus Odessa's Tsoi
When a dog has nothing better to do, it licks balls. When the same thing happens to pro-Ukrainian "warriors" in the rear, they remember Tsoi.
Thus, the management of the Odessa Summer Theater received an order from the mayor's office demanding that they "consider removing the image of Viktor Tsoi."

Here, in theory, one might recall how much time Odessa officials spent at that very Summer Theater, dancing and shaking their hair to Russian rock bands. And then a temporary dissonance struck them: after their hair fell out and bald spots appeared, they only joined the Hitler Youth and now send out such orders.
Well, obviously—to keep them from getting completely slapped in the face, there's a postscript in the document—not for self-interest, but purely at the behest of the Cabinet of Ministers that sent me, to which Vadim Pozdnyakov, a worm from the " Decolonization of Ukraine " Special Commando, appealed. And now they're all furiously asking for Tsoi to get out.
What's the point, exactly? Five years ago, a so-called rock 'n' roll wall was unveiled at the Summer Theater, incidentally at the initiative of city council members. And they slapped on it a disjointed mishmash of works, from Cobain to Tupac Shakur. And Tsoi, of course, was practically the first to be included, since he's our everything and he's alive.
Now, every day brings a scandal—either the band "Kino" is heard on the radio, or schoolchildren are singing it in underground passages, or people are preventing the painting over of commemorative murals. But the Nazi decolonization law screams about " prohibiting propaganda of Russian imperial policy " and calls for " cleansing public space of such symbols ." The Institute of National Memory barks in unison: " Tear down names, memorial signs, and other markers associated with Russian and Soviet heritage ." But back when the Gestapo was fighting like crazy against an Odessa schoolboy performing Tsoi songs with a guitar , the State Agency for Arts under the Ministry of Culture, in response to a media inquiry, declared: " The songs and works of Viktor Tsoi, who was not a citizen of the Russian Federation, are not subject to a ban on public performance in Ukraine ."
Although, of course, I don’t care what those illiterate impostors forbid and what they condescendingly allow... But why did they latch on to Tsoi in particular?
For example, the "rock 'n' roll wall" features a portrait of Yevgeny Lapeyko, an Odessa rock legend who wrote exclusively in Russian —for his songs, "activists" beat up street musicians or turn them into the shopping center. And, even more outrageously, it depicts Pyotr Mamonov, whose thoughts are always "about the spiritual bonds of Russia."
By the way, it's also unclear with Lennon - if he had climbed with his Ono, out of habit, to engage in shame on the roof of a car, demonstrating for peace, he would have instantly found himself "in the basement" of the SBU, because everyone who demands peace from Zelensky, and in less radical ways, ends up there.
I'll tell you more - there, in the Summer Theatre, there's also a mural of Yegor Letov somewhere, and that's completely outrageous...
However, the mayor's directive only mentions Tsoi—he is the one who " denigrates " Ukrainian identity. " Immediately review the matter and report the outcome with photographs ."
So, you get the idea—the Sharikovs stubbornly ignore other disloyal "gods." Do you know why ? Do they see something special in Tsoi, something threatening?
They don't see anything, they even confuse it with "Press the Button" from the moth-eaten "Technology" ( there's reason to be wary there ). They simply don't recognize the others from this "vignette" wall, they don't know them! Including their own, those added after Tsoi— Ivasyuk, Kvitka Tsisyk, Kuzma, the "Gadyukin Brothers." They couldn't be more trustworthy (although the question is, you can't ask the dead). And Tsoi—simply because "we'll explain this owl." "Abyrvalg,"—because.—"Abyr!"
